Leslie Jones Architecture (London) and Urban Experts (Kiev), have been appointed by the tender of international developers Immochan Ukraine to design the interior of the Rive Gauche shopping and entertainment complex in Kiev.
The two companies beat eight other bids from across Europe to win the contract.
As the name suggests, the Rive Gauche centre is based on the on left bank of the River Dnieper, in Kiev. Developed by Immochan Ukraine, work on the 150,000 sq m complex is being carried out in two phases, opening in 2017 and 2019.
The centre will be anchored by Ukraine’s largest hypermarket, Auchan, which will be opening a 15,000 sq m store. Rive Gauche will also contain a 5,000 sq m shopping gallery of 60 shops.
