Visioning process to identify commercial opportunities including retail, leisure, office hotel and other uses on land in and around the station environment

  • Client: High Speed 2 Ltd
  • Mixed-use commercial requirements within a transport environment

Leslie Jones Architecture has been working on a visioning process for HS2, identifying opportunities for retail, leisure, office hotel and other uses on land in and around the station environment.

As the mixed-use commercial spaces in and around transport hubs continue to grow in importance, Leslie Jones is leading the delivery of innovative commercial solutions in passenger terminals and stations.

Worldwide, the expansion of uses for land in and around airports, stations and ports is becoming big business and a valuable source of income for occupiers and landlords alike. For successful developments, there is an increasing need to consider retail, offices, leisure, food & beverage and residential in the offer.

With extensive mixed-use and infrastructure experience, Leslie Jones is well placed to look at what stations might offer that goes over and above the usual consumer experience.
