Urban Experts purchased 22 medical backpacks for the military in the ATO zone

Urban Experts purchased 22 medical backpacks for the military in the ATO zone. Today, the CEO of Urban Experts and NAI Ukraine Vitaliy Boyko officially handed over the backpacks to the medical team of the rapid reaction “Vitesez”. In early July, representatives of the organization will take them to the 95th and 93rd Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The backpack was put together by doctors who have  been working on the front line for years now, and it has everything one needs to provide first aid in combat conditions.

The medical backpack is completely different from the regular one. It opens completely for the doctor to access everything at once. The backpack’s filling consists of plastic blocks attached to the interior surface. Blocks are systematized according to possible injuries —for problems with the respiratory tract, for bleeding, etc. Depending on what the doctor works with, he can quickly get the right block. In addition, thanks to such systematization, several doctors can work with one backpack at the same time.

In a medical backpack there are drugs and medical supplies produced in Ukraine, as well as foreign medicines, that have been specially delivered from different countries. Instead of bulky cast braces that are not suitable for field conditions, there is a portable (folding) appliance for splintage. Instead of a bulky Ambu bag for breathing, there is a compact bag valve mask that doctors can carry with them. Also, the backpack is equipped with a pulse oximeter, hemostatic bandages that absorb blood, crystallise and clog the wound; a needle for a closed pneumothorax, which will allow the air to enter the lungs; chemical flashlight, which can be used in combat conditions; special metal lining that is safe to use in case of an eye injury, etc.

“As an international company , we understand the importance of supporting volunteers who are now helping the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who protect the country against the aggressor. I hope that this seemingly insignificant contribution by NAI Ukraine will save lives of many Ukrainian defenders”, — said Vitaliy Boyko, CEO of Urban Experts.
